I wanted to thank everyone that sent me info on my drag link problem. I
think the reason I was having so many problems is I have a 1940 truck that I
switched the front axle with a 1955 1st series truck. The drag link on the
1940 used a ball and socket connection and the 1955 used a drag link with
tie rod like ends. The steering arm is 1955 and the pitman arm is 1940. I
saw a drag link on eBay for passenger cars that has a mixed set of ends. I
may have to find one like that or have a custom one made. All the 4
wheeler\rock climbers make them all the time when they lift their trucks.
