Hi all, today I made the second sad journey to the scrap yard with a
pick-up load of scrap from my 58 GMC wideside. I salvaged the dash, right
door, and the right side of the bed, along with the engine/transmission,and
other small parts that filled only two totes, for later use. This was a
decision that took me three years to make, but getween the damage from the
accident and the raviges of nature it was the right thing to do. In the
process I found that the truck had factory windshield washers. Does anyone
out there know hoiw the system worked? All that was left of the systsem was
some tubing and the spray nozzles on the wiper mounts.
As soon as I get the rest of the grimm task finished I will be able to
start on my 58 chevy step-side and use many of the salvaged parts from the
GMC.
One other thing, I retained the VIN plate and the title so if there is
anyone near to or in Arizona that has a cab and frame with no title I might
be interested in obtaining it. That is if they are interested in parting
with it.
