I've seen many folks put the outside controlling button in the bed rail
next to the cab, a simple push and the juice is applied to the actuator or
solenoid and it will open. Most hide this so to speak so no one else can
open it. Speaking of keeping original door handles-----If you didn't want
to shave the door handles how about fabricating some sort of plate to hold
a lever switch of some sort that when you push the handle button in,
contact is made and the door will open. --wayne
