Thanks Jim; I've heard from a few and agree that it has to be the
right side wiring pigtail that is the deciding factor and not the
light base itself.  The assembly instructions that come with the NOS
unit show the wiring routing from the right side all the way over to
the left near the tail light base and not both of them coming back to
some common in between point.
