This is definitely a scam. The "buyer" is counting on Pat to send the
money to the shipper before Pat's bank has a chance to find out that
the buyer's money order is bogus. The "shipper" is in on the scam, and
cashes Pat's money order or check ASAP. Then Pat still has his truck,
but he's out the shipping amount.
It's a very common scam currently in the vintage auto sector.
Sometimes the extra money is for shipping, sometimes it's to pay
another "debt" the buyer supposedly owes, and other variations.
Watch out, guys. If it sounds funny, or too good to be true, it
probably is.
