[oletrucks] Door glass metal trim

Hello All!!

I in the process of restoring a 57 chevy pickup.  When I pulled the window
glass on the passenger side the metal trim around the glass was rusted through
in several places.  Two question....Is the trim really necessary if I purchase
new glass?  If it is, does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
