I too have had many leaky rochesters. Someone from one of these lists or the stovebolt page told me that after a rebuild to soak the carb in a coffe can full of gas overnight before you install it. I took the leaking carb off my '49 and did just that. It has been two years now and it still does not leak. Brian oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
