I don't know the procedure, since I bought my truck this way, but I've
got 11-inch front disc brakes (taken from an '82 Monte Carlo) combined
with my Mustang II IFS. They aren't power brakes, and the truck stops
just fine ... ESPECIALLY since I cut about 3-inches off the brake
pedal! The original height of the brake pedal really made it a lot
harder to brake ... I put a new round Gennie pedal on, cut 3-inches off
the shaft, and wow - what a difference! Braking was much, much easier
after that.
