I have a 55 3100, would the measurements for these other models be the same
as mine? I have the 1955-1959 Truck Factory Assembly Manual but it does
explain much about all the different model numbers.
Thanks
Tom

This is from the 57 manual:
Truck Models:
a 3102 is a chassis and front fenders, no cab or windshield.
a 3112 is the same only with a windshield.
a 3103 is a chassis and cab, no bed.
a 3104 is a complete truck.
a 3105 is a panel truck.
a 3106 is a suburban carryall with clamshell (2) back doors.
a 3116 is the same only with 1 large back door.
a 3124 is the famed Cameo Carrier
