Several of us on the list got together internet-wise and compared various
measurements
on the TF and AD Suburban 2nd and 3rd seats.
It appears that the 2nd seat mounts are the same for the TF and the AD...ie,
100%
compatible...TF will bolt into an AD and vice versa.
It also appears that there's a variation on the 3rd seat that may or may not
allow them
to be crossed over from TF to AD. The left 4 holes are the same; the added
right side
part may be different. Steve G on the list is buying a set of TF seats for his
AD and
will be able to relate any variations in the near future.
As part of all this, I did a sketch on the TF seat mounting points...which
should be the
same as the floor mount points...and crossed it with some of the AD dimensions
received
from Bob Chansler. After scribbling on it with info from the discussion, I
need to do
one more update of the drawing. If anyone wants a copy of it after that, let
me know.
All this was a study of the TF and AD seat frames and did not go into the
cushions...I
think the cushions are padded thicker on the AD, but that can be fixed in the
redo. The
footprint dimensions on the cushions appear to be exactly the same TF and AD
for both
2nd and 3rd seats.
