[oletrucks] gmc

i have founda gmc with the first letters FC -i think tis a 47-48-e49  2ton
truck. what motor would that have been? it is a GMC motor but it has the
wider head/block like a 292 where the valve cover doesnt cover the whole
head. ideas? 270 or bigger?
