Don't know what you mean by 'car grade' but I've read that one place to look
for a GMC 302 is an old military truck.
I've been researching 454s. In response to your query last week I indicated
that I wasn't sure if a 454 was available before '72. I now know that they
were first put in trucks in 1970.
