I've put a caddy motor in a '69 chev and a '77 chev. both are 1/2t 2wds and
are used almost exclusively for pulling a car trailer. they fit in the '69
like it was made for it, it was a little too big for the '77 so we had some
clearance issues with the firewall.

let me know what you find out about stuffin a caddy into an AD-around
here-they ar beggin people to haul caddy 500 and 472's away. they are all
over the junk yard and if they get stuffed in-by changing to an aftermarket
alum intake-it dropw below a sbc wieght and.. 75hp increase. needless to
say-torque monster. i have 2 472 motors...
