I'm pretty sure either its not a '68 or its not 5-lug.
Some '71s seem to be 5-lug, and all '72s are. But before that I'm pretty
sure they were all six. If its a Chevy it is probably not set up for leaf
springs. Could it be a '78? That would be both 5-lug and leaf spring...

Subject: [oletrucks] 1968 C-10 rear end
I have a chance to get a rear end from a 1968 C-10. I haven't seen it, nor
have i taken any measurements from it. I just know the guy said it was 5 lug
and I could have it.
Does anyone know if that rear end will fit under a 55 2nd series? Also do
you know what gear ratio it may be? I don't know what size engine and tranny
the C-10 has or had.

Thanks
