Yes, the only chrome or SS that I'm aware of (for corner or rear) is that
locking strip that goes in the rubber window seal. Too bad, because some chrome
trime or SS around the outside of all the windows would look very cool!

Jim,
I wasn't aware of inside chrome (or SS) either. I was looking for the outside
trim on the corners and back glass. Darrel

Daniel,
I'm not an expert, but my research has led me to believe that there was no
chrome trim for the corner or rear windows - at least on the Chevy 1/2 ton AD
trucks. There is a chrome locking strip that can be inserted into the rubber
window seal which gives a chrome stripe around these windows on the outside.
However, on the inside, I've never seen any chrome trim for either corner or
rear windows. I have only seen this on the door windows and the windshield
interiors. If you find out something different, please let me know. I'd like
to have chrome trim on the inside of the corner and rear windows, but I am not
aware that these exist or that they were ever installed by GM.
Regards,

I'm looking for chrome windshield trim for a 1947-53 3100. Also need the
corner window and rear window chrome trim. Finally, I need the inside
windshield molding. Anyone have any ideas where to acquire? I had my truck at
Back to the Fifties the past weekend in St. Paul and maybe saw some of your
trucks there. Had a lot of inquiries about my truck from other builders and
referred them to this site for future assistance.
