Do you have big enough holes in it to pull the stuff out, even in pieces.
If so, then you can pull all of the stuff out that way.  I have done this on
some of my projects and then bought scouring pads from the grocery
store to use as replacement.  I think what I used is Bon Ami brand
pads.  They are copper in color and look great when stuffed back in
the air cleaner.  If you decide to go that way, let me know and I will
look in the store and make sure exactly what I used.
