One of my neighbors has a custom mailbox with flames painted on it. The
first couple were just painted mailboxes. The current one looks to have
been custom made of tougher stuff. I've wondered how many supposed sports
injuries have occurred on my street instead of the ball field....
But hey, it appears I'll have some teen help this afternoon to pull the
motor out of my '54. They aren't all bad.

I had a similar problem with my mailbox here in NW PHX. I've lived here 20
years, and am on my 4th mailbox. I called the Post Office once, and their
response was"What do you expect us to do abt it". I said "If you can't do
anything abt them (teenagers on bikes with baseball bats), can I use them
for target practice with my 45 gov model pistol?" They hung up. No sense of
humor. Bob K in PHX.
