I was browsing the used book store in my area last night, and found a
'58 Chevy TSM, which has preliminary printed on the front cover. I got it
pretty reasonable. It covers all series from the 3000 to the 10,000, including
engines, trans, brakes, etc. My '55 TF shop manual I don't recall covering near
as many models as this one does. If anyone has both a Prelim and a regular
shop manual for the same years, I'd like to hear what the differences are.
Wonder
if it was a dealer-only item, sort of? Anyway, it's in pretty good shape,
only the first inside page is torn out, the rest of the book is nice, no grime
on
the pages, some stains on the front cover. I may keep it, or may sell it, not
sure yet. Always nice to have "reference material" around. LOL. Although I
have quite a bit these days,I need more "library" space. Stuff is piling up in
places. :D
Anyway, if anyone can shed some light on this type of manual, I'd
appreciate a replay. THanks,
