My tires are probably a little taller than yours, 235/70-15, which is almost
28 inches high. Yours are fully two inches shorter if I understand the tire
codes...

Look at http://www.oldsub.com/images/2003/05/truck.gif

This shows the same picture with some measurements. I'm not convinced my
measurements are all correct, but I'll work to refine them before cutting
anything.

I used a tool that allows me to size the photo to give an accurate measurement
on part of the truck where I can confirm the dimension line is correct. In
this case I measured the length of the bed and found it to be 80.125 inches.

With that measurement in place I can then draw dimension lines that should be
accurate. I show the bottom of the front bumper at 7 inches. That's probably
enough, but the rear portion of the front fender is probably too low, though
its not on the picture you can see, I've measured it at 4.5 inches.

Would you be willing to measure the distance from ground to the lower edge of
your front fenders, or perhaps your running boards?

I have a wicked driveway, and while I want this thing low, I want to be able
to park it at home.

Can't imagine my 270 turning 4500... Actually I'm pretty sure it won't do
it, but I know I won't be trying it while I still rely on it for daily
transportation.

hi steve, i say-youre creation/mockup is quite low! take a look at
my panel on my site and compare. i run 225/60-15 in front and well, its
super low and rubs sometimes. they are on 15x7 w/ 4.75 backspace(vendor with
custom cheap offsets if interested) its tight. camaro subframe. you may want
to be runnin it higher. i love it but well, theres practical issues.. =)

BTW-the 76 250 in my 52 gmc is supposed to have horsepower ratings at
4500rpm. the 228 gmc in my dads truck is rated at 4500 but is supposed to
have a 4200 rev limiter, so they do turn that fast but.. +)
