hey gang, got the 327 dropped into my truck this weekend. Took about 4 hours
to get the 235 removed, then about another 2 hours to actually get the 327
sitting on its mounts in the engine bay. Came home from work tonight and
spent 3 hours arguing with the transmission about going in place, but with the
help of a neighbor, it finally went in. Sure wish I had known I had to
seperate them to do this. Now I have run into some other little problems. I
understood that I would have to do something with the throttle linkage, but
hadn't been able to get a good look at it until I was actually taking the 6
out. What I had worked fine for the 6, but how did the factory set it up to
work with a 283? The only catalog I have here is LMC, and they don't list
anything for that. I'd rather stay with stock looking stuff than go to a
cable, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
