I have heard of people using it for an under coating of sorts. Spraying
inside fenders and such to protect from rust and rock chips (particularly on
fiberglass fenders that 'star' much easier). I have though about doing that
in the future myself. There was a 1946-48 Dodge car that was in several of
the rod magazines a few years ago. Called it 'orange roughy' or something.
The whole car was sprayed then painted orange.
I talked to some people as well as a place that does the lining and they
say some are better than others. The person I talked to was from Rhino. He
told me to get a brand cerified shop to do it even if it wasn't him. He
said that most of the big brands of liner had certified placees and guys
that just used their products.
