Hi George, I have no experience in this at all, but this is what I read in
"How to build tri-five chevy trucks" on page 15 :
Four-link rear suspension : For this application, Bruce already had a Lincoln
Versailles rear that measures out to 58 inches in width. For the '55-'57
Chevy trucks, the rear end width should be anywhere between 57-60 inches,
similar to an early '67-'69 Camaro. The Versailles rear came with factory
disc brakes and was perfect to fit in the '57 frame etc. (then everything is
detailed with pictures)
I know this is not exactly what you were asking for, but I hope it gives you
an extra information on the subject.
