They are building a new pickup to replace the S10. According to
www.chevrolet.com it will be called the Colorado and will be powered by the
new 3.5 liter I5 engine (as well as a new 2.8 l I4 engine) and will be
available fall of this year. I think that it is going to be built at GM's
Shreveport Plant in Louisiana.

Perry, I don't think there building a new pick up. The way that I read it
was
they needed an eye catching vehicle to put the new vortex in to get
attention. And what other way to get than to use an old truck and modify
it.
According to the article in the front of the mag. It says they needed a
post
48 to be able to get into the NSRA events. Later, Larry
