Hi All,

I have a question regarding the brake drums on my 1958 3100, are the rear
drums the same as the front drums?
I have to ask this because all the suppliers sell only one type for the 1/2
ton trucks but if I compare the rear and front drums on my truck there is a
slight difference not in size but little details such as the the lug holes
they both have 6 but the front has 3 smaller holes and one large with it,
the rear has two larger and one with a different shape.
The numbers on the front drums are
160 EA1 CENTURY 712003 MAX.DIA. 11.060 H 1

On the rear drums there is only one number and they are different on one
there is W47 and the other one is W48

The right front drum is in a bad shape and since I have a new Chevrolet
Blazer rear axle since last year I have both rear drums to switch to the
front, I have new shoes for the front, new wheel cylinders a repair kit for
the master cylinder and all other hardware to do a nice brake job, the only
thing is that ordering new brake drums from the US from any vendor and have
them shipped to me trough UPS will cut down on my savings for a IFS kit, I
think I have to save two more years for that :-)
