the reason I choose to install the fitting lower in the casting of the master and Not in the cover,,was so that I could retain the diaphragm and the air chamber of the cover, so when the brakes were operated the fluid would not have to draw and return to the firewall mounted reservoir, the space would be taken in the flex of the diaphragm.
