I enjoyed reading about your build up.
You have already dealt with some of the things I'm thinking about doing, and
its helpful to hear what someone else encountered. Your suggestion to use a
jig to determine where the radiator support should be on the new clip.
That's a great idea that I don't recall seeing elsewhere.
