I have a 1949 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup that I subframed (1974 Camaro front clip). The front end has been rebuilt - all new A-arm bushings, ball joints, idler arm. Occasionally, at about 40-45 mph I get a front end vibration that I feel back through the steering wheel. If I speed up or slow down it stops. I've had two different sets of wheels and the wheel/tire combination is balanced. The front end has been aligned. Any ideas on what could cause this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
