The '46 beds have 7 boards. The earlier models have 6. Is it possible the
bed is from an earlier truck? Is the original VIN tag in place on the cowl
(pass side)? If so, what's the VIN? Let's start the mystery solving there.

Subject: [oletrucks] Boards in Bed of 46
Guys Iv`e been reading the post on the bed wood for the advance trucks and I
removed the original boards from my 46 this weekend and it has only 6 boards
in it. what gives with that?
They each measure 7"
I`ve saved a couple for reference if needed.
