The fellas advertising in Rod mags that do modifying and narrowing of these
rears can also re-drill the axles and drums for any pattern. If you go with
Mustang type front it would match, maybe using Granada sized rotors, which
some do. What's wrong with a Chev truck rear from later model? 4x4's have
the six lugs if you  need that. Just have to change the pads for springs
maybe. 9" is good for high performance use, the 8" I see no advantage too
over a GM rear change.
