Hello Steve,
I Have Seen The Ford 9' Rear End Being Used To Hotrod Anything. They Even
End Up In Chevy's! It's A Popular Choice.

Subject: [oletrucks] Parts Car?
I've got a car I'm trying to sell (you're not interested). A prospective
buyer has a '78 Monte Carlo he wants me to take as partial trade. The Monte
Carlo is a tired 305 with automatic.
What I'm wondering is if anyone has used one of these as a sub frame donor,
or
if anyone has used the rear axle from one of these. In other words, is this
a
good parts car as I get ready to rod my '54 Chevy?
Any thoughts? I expect to see the car sometime Saturday, and likely will
need
to make a decision pretty quickly. It runs and drives, and is said to be
straight and rust free. Any idea what its worth?
