I upgraded (if that's the right term....) my tie rod ends to modern
type, using Golden State Pickup Parts kit, new ends and heavy duty tie
rod. My tie rod ends are worn out already, after maybe 10,000
admittedly hard miles of hauling firewood and rocks and stuff on the
logging back roads of rural Polk Co., OR. Golden State offers
replacements, but if I would prefer to get some good lifetime guarantee
ends from NAPA if I can. So the question: does anybody know the
application for Golden State's tie rod ends, that is, what vehicle they
would be stock for, so I can order some? I can't find any numbers on
them.
