The headliner and door panels in my '49 Chevy 3/4 ton wrecker are red -
I'm trying to figure out if that is an original color or if somebody has
painted them. Neither Bowtie Bits nor Chevy Duty carry red panels. The
door panels are in pretty good shape but the headliner needs to be
replaced since water has leaked through the cab roof since somebody has
removed the flashing emergency light that was originally mounted there.
Also, how do I tell the difference between the early '49 screw in
headliner center retainer strip and the later '49 floating type
headliner center retaining strip?
