Subject: [oletrucks] 50 Chevy pickup and sedan delivery found for sale
Since a lot of people offered to buy the wrecker, I inquired about to the
list yesterday, I thought that I would let the list know of a couple trucks
that I found for sale over the weekend while I was driving around.
Somebody had moved about 60 old cars in to a field recently. The two best
chevy trucks that I saw were:
1950 (approximate date) half ton pickup, five window cab, good body and
glass, I didn't look at the floor but I assume that it would need
replacing. Six cylinder engine with a dual exhaust manifold (the truck has
dual exhaust pipes extending up through the running boards). $1,500 Gray
in color.
1950 sedan delivery. Solid body and glass, again I would assume the floors
would need replacing. Six cylinder engine with an Offy aluminum valve
cover. $2,500 Red in color.
Also a slightly newer (newer than 50) half ton truck with a one piece
windshield, a little rougher condition and a approximately 50 panel in
rougher condition with a Toyota engine. I didn't get prices on those.
The cars are located about an hour east of Kansas City on highway 50 on the
east side of the small town of Pittsville (yes that is the actual name).
The guy is only interested in selling complete vehicles. His phone number
is 816-365-4834. The guy sells old cars right in Pittsville but these
vehicles are in a field about a half mile east of his sales lot. The
trucks I'm talking about are on the west side of the field.
