Here in my office we have a Xerox color laser printer.  Even in black it
prints glossier than most laser printers or ink jet printers.  I haven't
printed to decal paper, but I'm thinking a printer like this would produce
decals with a little bit of a raised look to the numbers, and that they
would look more like the characters were painted on.

If you try this please let me know how it goes.  I'd like to try it on mine
someday.
