Since I will be armed with a few hour repreive from my honey do list this
week end I wanted to start up a bucket of bolts I aquired a while back.
Its a TF with a 283 from the mid 60's I think since it still has the front
motor mounts. anyway......
The wiring under the dash is a mess with alagator clip jumpers, no gages...
the list goes on.
I have a button switch hooked up to th starter and can turn over the motor
but I can't get any spark at the points (which are new). I want to do a
quick direct wire from the battery and bypass the mess under the dash.
Can someone give me a quick description of how to wire it up under the hood
while using the inline balast resister so I don't burn up the points. I
want to run at least a gallon of gas through it to get it good and warm.
Then if I have time I'll take a picture if the wire mess put it up on the
web. It's classic !
thanks
