Just purchased forgotten first series - major problems - dip stick 3 inches oil on top of 6 inches of water & loose front end. Thinking of chev small block / auto & with major front end repairs required replacement with newer ( softer) suspension with approximate stock height without going to major frame altering. Told 53 chev sedan front suspension would fit with minor alterations? Any same experience out there? Jim oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
