So it was a pretty straightforward operation? I was actually thinking
I'd cut out the section on my existing cab and mount a replacement big
window. Think that would work too?

On the donor cab side...
I cut along below the window with lots of room for clearance...about
twelve inches. Carefully drill and grind out the factory spot-welds
along the side and top no need to cut up there. Then very carefully tap
down on the window opening. It should slide out... Sorry I didn't take
