I'm just about finished my DREAM SHOP. It is 44' wide x 60' deep with a 16'
ceiling. There is a 12' x 12' door for the paint/car wash bay (16' wide x
30' deep) and a 20' x 12' door for the main shop (28' wide x 60' deep).
Behind the paint bay is a 16' x 30' two story area with the wood/ machine
shop on the main floor and a hobby room above. I am also looking at lifts.
I need one rated at 12,000# to pick up my wrecker.....I'm not sure about the
cheap (low price) ones sold on the auction site, are they safe? They don't
advertise being UL approved or built to any "standards". Any thoughts? I
am safety minded....on a budget!
