Tom:
Does the $2700.00 INCLUDE installation? A lot of vendors sell mustang II
IFS kits for $1300 to $2100 but that is for the parts only, not
installation. Also, are you wanting a 'fancy' IFS (chrome coilovers, chrome
control arms and etc.)? If you plan to show your truck and want to have the
nice chrome components (you'll have to crawl under the truck and clean them
too!), then you'll want a high-end ($$-wise) kit. Many IFS swaps mean
removing the frame forward of the firewall or at least removing the engine
and most of the front sheet metal.
I've been on this list a couple of years and have seen both good and bad
comments about the vendor you mentioned. Do yourself a favor and check
around for prices and keep posting messages on boards like this, you're
bound to get someone who has either used this vendor's products or has other
suggestions. It helps to give your general location (midwest, new england
and etc.) as this may help people point you to local vendors they may have
experience with. Good Luck!
