Hi Jim :
I agree that it gets noisy but we camped of of the back side in a smaller
area just outside the fenced in grounds with some nice quiet people! I think
we asked at the info center and the told us about the area and the roudy
area in side.
I heard the comment about sunday being a bust from several people.
I might suggest to people who aren't in to the party scene to go because it
is good show on Fri/Sat. and if camping ask for directions to a "family"
area.
Enjoy

Mark,
This show is NO PLACE FOR KIDS if you are camping on site. Two years ago
I
took my then 11 year old son thinking we would have a great family time
looking for old truck parts. All went well until it got DARK. Then they
all came out and the woman's tops came off, the drink started and the
tires
smoked - to much for my son to see. Quickly back to the camp site and
tried
to get to sleep. After midnight it got quieter so we could sleep. On
Sunday NO ONE WAS AROUND - only do this show on Friday or Saturday -
Sunday
is 1/4 of what it is the other days.

Of the several that are going to the June All Truck Nationals June 28-30,
where are
people planning on staying? I'm still hoping to go though my wife is
waffling because
of the babies (we won't be taking the twins now 5 months, and she hasn't
been away from
them yet). If I end up going by myself, I would probably only stay one
night; if we
both go, we would stay two nights. I would like to meet up with anyone
from
the list.
Otherwise, back to lurking for me as work, school, and babies are eating
up
most time
now so little progress on any of the trucks other than some parts hunting
and minor part
restoration...and still trying to work the 35/36 (??) Suburban contact.
