Truck Guy, I wouldn't think it a bad choice, but don't get any on your skin, and you may have to sand more than just a little to get a grip for your new overcoat. It does turn a dull color in the UV light, but it doesn't hurt the protection qualities. If you spray, for God's sake, wear a mask! It isn't good for the lungs.
