I have a 1955 (2nd series) PU and just replaced the rear end. I installed one from a 69 GMC (3:07) gearing. I don't know the gear ratio of the old one but I'm sure it is original because the truck has been in the family for over 40 years. If anyone has a need for the old one please let me know.
