Anyone out there had any experience with the Lokar "nostalgia" shifter? In
particular, I'm wondering how much effort is required to press the
shift/interlock button in the shift knob to move from park to reverse or
drive. I don't have the full use of my right hand, and don't want to buy a
shifter that's too hard to engage from park to the other gears. I'm
debating about using either a Lokar shifter or a B&M minivan auto shifter.
The Lokar is the height I'd like (21 inches) versus the B&M which has a
maximum height of 15 1/2 inches. I'm not impressed with the Lockar price
($180 for the shifter + extra $ for the indicator and display in the shift
boot), versus $165 for the B&M that has everthing together. Won't be buying
the shifter until this spring when I swap my TH350 for a 200 4R but any
advice would be appreciated.
