I have the week off between Christmas and New year's. During this time I hope
to remove the cab of my '51 from the frame. Everything is removed from the cab
and it is completely disconnected. The question I have is what is the best and
safest way, besides brute force, to lift the cab and roll the frame out from
underneath it? I have the normal assortment of home garage stuff such as jack
stands, floor jack, cinder blocks, saw horses and 2X4's. I will be placing the
cab on a heavy duty furniture dolly.
How has anyone else done it? What would you do different? And finally, is
there anything I should definitely not try?
