[oletrucks] Lincoln Versaille rear end

        A while ago I asked for some input on installing a Lincoln rear 
end in my `49 GMC.Some one said to flip the springs end for end.I 
tried this and the wheels don`t line up with the wheel wells.The 
spring perch is not centered on the spring.Did I misunderstand or 
are GMC`s different from Chevys?Thanks   Bob Oliver `49 GMC
