The "Apache" name was used on 3000 series (1/2, 3/4 & 1 ton) Chevrolet's for
1958 & 59 and then the 3000 & 4000 series (1/2, 3/4, 1 & 1-1/2 ton) starting
in 1960.
The "Viking" name was used on 4000, 5000 & 6000 series (1-1/2 & 2 ton) for
1958 & 59 and then just the 5000 & 6000 series (2 ton) starting in 1960.
The "Spartan" name was on the 7000, 8000, 9000 & 10000 (2-1/2 ton) starting
in 1958.
So, if the truck in question is a TF type then it should be a 1-1/2 or 2 ton
(provided someone didn't swap emblems on you).
