Hello Bob and other Art Deco folks,
All documentation I've seen from Chevrolet shows NO pinstripe on the truck
wheels like the cars had. This is the SPEC book and advertising literature.
Original truck wheels I've seen had NO stripes but many car wheels made
there way onto trucks over the years!
At the VCCA Springfield Anniversary Meet this year a judge dinged me for NOT
having pinstripes on my wheels. I think this came about because the guy
next to me had stripes and a judge compared the trucks which, of course,
they're NOT supposed to do!

Subject: [oletrucks] wheel striping stock1946
Does anyone have pinstriping on an original 1946 half ton wheel? Is it the
same as cars with one stripe in line with valve stem and 2 stripes near the
hub cap?
