Joe & Darren,
I am a Cameo owner, mine is a 56. I will have to dig through my info to find
some answers to the questions you had. But as for the Rod or Resto question.
I favor the Rod. Mine 56's body and chrome trim is all stock (except for a 57
hood) but I have a newer V-8, subframe, PS, PDB, tilt, custom
interior.............and the list goes on.
When building your truck, you need to do what will make you guys the happiest.
Don't let the 'stock' people tell you "it'll ruin the value to customize." At
the same time, my opinion is the same, just because I prefer custom, doesn't
mean it is right for you. Do it the way you want. Mild custom is cool, you
don't have to 'chop' it to do a custom.
