hi folks, in my travels, most of the nos(fulton) visors i have seen were the
flat green primer color. this was to keep the aluminum (yes there made of
aluminum) from corroding and so you don't get a sun glare from the bottom of
the visor. somewhere i remember reading in the original directions not to
paint the bottom for this reason. but there were a few different
manufacturers of visors. i have not seen an original GM NOS visor to verify
what color they were painted originaly....what make of visor are you talking
about?.....steve
