Masito has been busy making more of these little trucks, I found a 1/43rd
size SSR at Wal-mart beside the plastic model 1/24th scale cars, it's a
partial assembly metal vehicle, costs $3.47. Masito also has a Display Case
series in 1/64th, comes in its' own little diamond-shaped display case, only
seen this one in blue, for $2.96. This is the same one that comes in a
two-pack for .92 cents with little Dodge retro car/van.
Also, Johnny Lightning has a second set out in the Surfing series, with a
black '55 Chevy Cameo with two mini surfboards on it. They're about $3 each.
I'm back into my model railroading phase, so I"m looking for 1/87 sized
vehicles that will fit my HO modules I'm building, as I intend to be heavily
involved in Old Cars and Trucks on my fantasy railroad layout. Matchbox and
Tonka seem to have the best designs to match the smaller sizes I need to be
more "realistic" than Hotwheels generally, the sizes of the trucks varies
considerably, but theirs are more fitting into real life than the fantasy
vehicles of Hotwheels. Anyway, that's all I have to report from the Toy
section of the web. Have a good one,
Jerry
